Swimming :)

We went to Aunt Tammy and Uncle Rick's pool for Labor Day. Our first trip to the pool this summer (I know it's September). Lana had so much fun jumping in the pool and swimming, we couldn't get her out! Boy did she sleep well that night :)

God made me

Today Lana was playing with her stuffed animals and was telling me that they are her babies and she is their mama. She was so sweet playing with them. Then she told me that I was a very good mama and that she was a good mama too. I asked her what made me a good mama, hoping that she was tell me a few examples of the nice things I do for her (e.g. she wet her bed last night and I got up with her and took her to the bathroom and changed her clothes and her sheets and put her back to bed without being mad or frustrated :). But instead she told me that I was a good mama because God made me a good mama. She said that without hesitation. Wow! What a lesson in humility! And by the way God makes her a good mama too :) Sorry I tried to upload a picture but for some reason it isn't working. Maybe later :)

First bath with both girls

This was our first attempt at a bath with both girls. It didn't go so well but we got some cute pictures :)
